Joint Association letter on DMA
Brussels, BELGIUM — The Federation of European Data and Marketing (FEDMA) and 35 other leading organisations and individuals in 13 countries sent a joint letter to EU policymakers on the Digital Markets Act (DMA).
The letter calls on the European Institutions and policymakers involved in the trilogue to strike the right balance between value creation and the protection of users.
In particular, the letter points out that measures aimed at targeted advertising should avoid negative impacts for European businesses, especially SMEs and NGO, which, in contrast to large players, do not have multi-million marketing budgets.
