FEDMA launches new Working Group on Sustainability
The Federation of European Data & Marketing (FEDMA) launched a new Working Group on Environmental Sustainability, where all interested members can actively take part in these crucial and sensitive discussions, as well as provide their contributions.
This new Working Group was set up during FEDMA’s 2023 General Assembly in June and held its first meeting in September.
To ensure maximum coverage of such a broad topic, FEDMA will facilitate the internal coordination of three workstreams, firstly focusing on the environmental impact of data-driven marketing:
- Workstream I: Exchange of best practices across members to reduce the environmental impact of specific or multiple data-driven marketing channels;
- Workstream II: Support existing industry-wide initiatives such as Ad Net Zero (ANZ) and WFA’s Global Alliance for Responsible Media (GARM)
- Workstream III: Develop FEDMA’s own solutions
In this context, FEDMA invites any interested party to reach out to the Secretariat with any environmental best practice or project applicable to specific or multiple data-driven marketing channels.
